Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching?

Coaching has become one of the leading tools that people use to experience extraordinary lives. A Coach practices the art of inspiring, energizing, and facilitating the performance, learning and development of  an individual.

How is Christian coaching different?

Christian life coaching adds another dimension to the coaching equation --spirituality. A Christian Coach, in tandem with the Holy Spirit will assist in personal development, setting and achieving goals, remaining focused and accountable. God uniquely created each person to become someone special and to do something special. The Coach honors the uniqueness of the Appointee and their calling by not assuming an advice-giving role.

"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you" (John 14:26).

Does coaching really work?

Coaching works because of synergy, structure, and expertise. The coaching relationship is all about you and what you are passionate about in life!

“People will never maximize their potential in any area without coaching. It is impossible. They may be good. They may even be better than everyone else. But without outside input they will never be as good as they could be.” Andy Stanley

Coach, Therapist, Counselor... aren't they all the same?

Coaching is not therapy or counseling! Therapists explore various issues in depth usually dealing with the past. Therapy tends to help answer the "why do I" questions. Counseling deals with past issues as well and how do I overcome. Coaching is more action oriented and focuses primarily on the present and future.
